Terms & Conditions

Wedding Photography Cancellation Policy

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required to secure your wedding date. Your booking is only confirmed once the booking fee has been received and the contract has been signed.

Client Cancellation

Should the Client cancel the wedding photography booking for any reason, the following terms will apply:

  • More than 6 months before the wedding date: The booking fee remains non-refundable. No further balance is payable.
  • 3–6 months before the wedding date: The booking fee is forfeited, and 50% of the remaining balance becomes payable.
  • Less than 3 months before the wedding date: 100% of the total package price is payable, as it is unlikely that the date can be rebooked.

Any payments already made are non-refundable.

Postponement

If the wedding is postponed rather than cancelled, every effort will be made to transfer the booking to the new date at no additional charge, provided the Photographer is available.

If the Photographer is unavailable on the new date, the postponement will be treated as a cancellation, and the cancellation policy above will apply.

Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to perform the services due to serious illness, injury, family emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a qualified replacement photographer.

If a replacement cannot be arranged, all monies paid by the Client will be refunded in full. This refund shall be the Photographer’s maximum liability.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, war, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, both parties will work together in good faith to reschedule where reasonably possible.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, shortened coverage due to delays outside the Photographer’s control, or if the Client chooses not to use all or part of the booked photography services on the wedding day.
